Hey y’all. I’ve been considering this for a long while now, and after watching a neat tutorial on how to use Obsidian to create a blog, I decided now was the time!

My plan is to release my research notes and scripts for videos moving forward here, so that others can continue where I left off on a particular topic. I’ll also be posting smaller scale ideas that I won’t be making dedicated videos on, and I’m sure I’ll also chat about videos that I ended up abandoning in the research process due to how depressing it was (I’m looking at you, AI video).

I’ve hosted this on a separate website, as I’ll be tweaking a lot of things and trying out lots of stuff that I don’t want to accidentally break previous things. Is it inefficient? Yeah, sure, but when have I ever been known for making things convenient?

I hope this blog will also get me writing a little more often, which is a skill I’ve been trying to work on more as the YouTube thing continues to grow.

Speaking of the YouTube thing, the channel is about to hit 50,000 subscribers! I suspect by the next time you see me post, that number will have been surpassed. To any of you who are subscribed and reading this - thank you. I loved the idea of making stuff on the internet when I was growing up, and to have it become a reality is truly magical. Seriously, thank you.

As always, please be kind and patient with each other. Peace!
